We had gotten 7 quotes for this project from $9,000 to $15,000. Several of the quoting companies pointed out that there would be some difficulties with our installation because of center structure on bays and a previously covered over, "hidden" window that we wished to open up. The project began in July and took 3+ days to complete.
But the job was huge...cutting out the windows and sliding glass doors. The two-person construction team came daily for 6+ hours. They cleaned up their entire mess and ultimately did a great job. There was finally a simple-to-work sliding glass door, with screens and we have a room with beautiful dual-pane windows, nice trimming/edging, quarter-round on the floors.
